Robert Lyn Nelson's "Emerald Hana Honu" is a 16'' x 20'' original on canvas. Honu is the Hawaiian Word for Green Sea Turtle and is symbolic in its meaning -Earth. This emerald Green Sea Turtle is depicted swimming in the waters just offshore from Hana, Maui. Hana, is enveloped in mystery, the gentleness of the place and the cocoon-like feeling of Aloha is prevalent. It is a magical location on Maui?.and although a difficult trip to make along the winding Hana Highway, once reserved for ancient Hawaiian Royalty, Hana is a rare paradise that will leave an impact on your heart and will tantalize your senses.
